These pedals are Custom Made in Japan.  The Hydra is perfectly voiced and is extrememly versatile for guitar or bass.  

The designer, H. Liquid has studied guitar repair and worked in recording studios since he was a teenager.

A lifelong student of the music industry, H. Liquid also has experience in tube amp repair and preamp design, and has even rebuilt an SSL console. He is also guitarist, singer and programmer for the popular Japanese band "Knave". The knowledge H. Liquid has gained through years of live recording and performing is present in all the products he has designed. H. Liquid’s products combine reliability with great sound that experienced guitarists will appreciate.
