Wilson Lotus Drive
Brands:
Wilson took one of the most sought after overdriven tones and added a clipping switch that gives you two more mouth watering overdrive tones and a low pass filter for post circuit eq.
If you want a lighter Dumble style overdrive pedal with additional tones that won't alter the dynamics of the circuit this pedal is begging for a spot on your board. With a standard volume control other features are a gain control that allows you to go from a clean boost with the dynamics of a D-style pedal to a nice rounded overdrive tone that is perfect for kicking it on stage or at home in the basement. There is also an added tone control that will help you shape the overall tone of the pedal. The presence control help you shape the overdriven part of the circuit. It tends to work in conjunction with the gain in sculpting the overall tone. The low pass control allows you to set up the pedal and then back down on the high end a bit if you would like. Most pedals of this nature cannot be used when the tone and presence controls are cranked. To give you an idea of how well the low pass filter works you can turn all the knobs all the way up and by tuning it with the low pass get some great tones. The clipping switch offers you the option of going with the standard clipping in the circuit, removing the clipping or LED clipping, which happens to be my favorite. All of this in a pedal that won't break the bank.
All Wilson pedals are built with a true bypass circuit therefore not sucking the life out of your signal when in bypass mode. The Lotus Drive operates on an industry standard 2.1mm center negative power supply or a high quality alkaline battery. All Wilson pedals are covered by a one year warranty on parts and labor and are hand built in the U.S.
