Daredevil Pedals Shrineburner Fuzz

In 2017, Daredevil designed 2 fuzz circuits for a very well known pedal company in NYC. These were loosely based around their earliest releases, or “triangle” era Big Muff. They bought one of the circuits, and this is the other… now available for a limited time in "Black 'n Blue" or Red color scheme.
This release is a collaboration with Chicago artist, musician, and tattooer Peter Norman who plays in the band Shrineburner . Peter reached out looking to collaborate on a very heavy fuzz pedal that would work great for bass and low tuning guitars. After digging through piles of prototypes and unreleased designs, this circuit stood out far beyond the rest and is my absolute favorite for bass guitar as well. He designed the artwork for this pedal.
This is an original take on this style of schematic, as They wanted to focus on the aspects of these that are great while also solving some issues that are inherent to the stock designs of that time period. There’s a lot of copy clones out there, this is not one of them. The gain is ferocious, the low end is huge but well balanced with the rest of the EQ response, and the muddiness has been resolved. There’s tons of sustain and upper midrange cut that push this into uncharted waters.
The SHRINEBURNER is loaded with silicon clipping diodes and NOS transistors, through hole components, and is all hand drilled, wired, and built in Chicago. True Bypass, takes 9VDC or battery, and comes with a 2 year warranty on parts & performance.
