"The **Whoctahell** is a revision of the very first pedal from Beetronics and the very first pedal I ever built for my own pedalboard. As I started building pedals and modding circuits, the Whoctahell came to life. I wanted a unique and insane-sounding low-octave fuzz that, whenever I turned it on, would make everyone say, “WHOCTAF*** is that?”
I never planned to sell pedals, but one day a friend played my Whocta and kept asking me to make him one. At the time, I was broke and needed the money, so I sold him one. Before long, his friends wanted one too, and that’s how Beetronics got its start."
Is it polyphonic?
No, the Whoctahell is monophonic—delivering unpredictably glitchy square wave octaves in the best way possible.
Can it bee used on bass?
Yes it can. The second low octave get's pretty insane as you can imagine.
