A classic germanium boost based on the Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster.

The BYOC Germanium Boost Pedal still uses a PNP transistor, but the circuit has been modified to have a negative ground. This allows it to use a standard power supply and get along with all your other pedals. BYOC added a 3-way EQ toggle switch: Mids, Full, and the traditional Treble boost. They've also added an internal trimpot so you can fine tune the bias of the transistor. The Build your Own Clone Germanium Boost kit comes with an NOS Germanium transistor. The brand and model of transistor may vary depending upon availability. Kits are currently built with VAL OC76 transistors.
