Athos (Sacred Sustain Device) is a finely tuned beast of a pedal.

What Frost Giant did was take a TS9 and build it specifically around their Mountain pedal, which was tuned specifically for this project. With the boost pushing the Mountain you can blend both gains while using the Pre to add even more saturation. Built for Thrash and Sludge, but levels with low tuned Doom as with all FG builds.

– Controls –

Top Row:

• Boost which pushes the signal and adds more volume
• Presence adds more bite to your tone
•Saturation adds more hair and saturation

Bottom Row:

• Volume controls the overall volume of the pedal
• Tone counter clockwise is a deeper softer tone while cranking it adds cut and aggression
• Gain is what we’re here for, at Zero there’s still a nice M*rshall like crunch because if you want a clean tone just turn it off.

Athos is a fire breather and now with the smaller footprint will fit on any board large or small.
