Greer Amps Mori Drive

The Mori Drive: for years, Greer has been asked to build a drive based on that old vintage standby that so many love with the famous “mid hump”…Nick has finally landed on a set of tweaks with this type of circuit that he believes fits with the other drives in the Greer line-up, and makes all of the test amps sing.

Available to Greer Amps artists only for a while, what is now known as Mori Drive is inspired by vintage TS circuitry, tuned between TS and Klon frequency ranges…it’s Nick's personal favorite set of mods for that circuit and uses a JRC4558 chip. He has built a ton of TS type circuits for folks over the years and this one is the one that he thinks is the “Greer signature” type sound and feel for that circuit. The mid hump on the Mori Drive is positioned in a sonically pleasing area, and there is more output volume available when compared to a standard TS type circuit. Clipping is also tweaked, to achieve a smoother tone that blends so very well with a pushed amp, and stacks amazingly with your other drives. We have stacked this pedal with every single drive circuit that Greer has built, and with many other companies’ drives, and we have yet to find a bad combination.
