Just a head's up that We will be offering some really killer Pro audio equipment over the coming months. Starting with D.W. Fearn / Hazelrigg Industries...
D.W. Fearn was started by Doug Fearn, who opened up his recording studio in 1969. Shortly after he began building his own equipment, leading to the creation of the VT-1 Vacuum Tube Microphone Preamplifier in 1993. He's been building world renowned mic preamps, equalizers and compressors for over 50 years that have been used in studios all over the world.
In 2017, after years of apprenticeship on the workbench and in the studio, brothers Geoff and George Hazelrigg of Hazelrigg Industries assumed D.W. Fearn's manufacturing. The Hazelrigg brothers have been working in live performance and production for years, and design and build the highest quality studio equipment with the artist's goals and challenges in mind, so we couldn't really think of a better team to take over D.W. Fearn's manufacturing and business. Doug Fearn continues to act as the principal product designer and serves as a consultant to the Hazelriggs. All D.W. Fearn and Hazelrigg equipment is built in Bucks County, PA.
In addition to the sweet 500 Series line-up (in stock), Hazelrigg's 4DI 4 Channel Direct Box, VNE Single Channel Vacuum Tube Compressor and VLC Vacuum Tube Microphone Preamp/DI/EQ Line Processor are among the offerings we will bring in on a custom order basis.
Their VDI DI Box (in stock) is perfect for the discerning musician who's invested heavily in guitars and effects and wants a DI that will preserve and highlight all that warmth and character that can get lost when going through a less worthy DI box.

From his origins in an 8’x10’ unheated basement shop, all the way to designing circuits for Dunlop and Electro Harmonix, Johnny Wator has driven Daredevil as a true labor of love and obsession. After over a decade of touring in a band, the desire to create his own tones led to the development of the brand and the first line of pedals available in 2012.

Initially building old school point to point and strip board circuits, the Daredevil roots lie in an affection for vintage circuits from the 60’s & 70’s, big ol’ hand wired tone machines. Almost all of Daredevil pedals are original design circuits that capture something unique, and fill a sonic void in Johnny’s personal quest for musical expression. The continual cycle of seeking out new ideas and approaches to classic tones for the modern age.
We value Rock n' Roll above most everything else, so Johnny's pedals were a perfect fit for AAYSR. Checl them out here.

Happy to announce we just recieved out first shipment from Gecko Pedals! check the full line-up our here.
Gecko Pedals was born out of a bet (a dare maybe?) between two band mates back in 2007. The first band mate, the lead guitarist, was a big fan of a 1960-1970’s era tape delay made by Maestro called the Echoplex, which is still a thing of legend and with many still in service even today. He owned and used one in the band, and all were delighted by the jaw-dropping sounds that he created with it. It suffered from a few problems, however. It was a giant, heavy, electro-mechanical brick of machine, full of motors and pulleys and things that hummed and squeaked and whirred. When something went wrong with it, replacement parts and people who were able to service one were both in short supply.
Enter band mate #2, the percussionist, who had a background in engineering. One day while the two were talking about his Echoplex, band mate #2 mindlessly says something along the lines of, “I bet I could build you something to replace it that would fit on your pedal board and that wouldn’t break down on you.” The first band mate replied, “Oh yeah? Well then you definitely should do that, because I can think of more people than just me who would want one.”
Over the next decade, the chaos of life took over. Careers happened, marriages happened, children happened, people bought houses and moved away, fortunes were won and lost… The band eventually faded away, but all members remained good friends. Through those years, band mate #1 would occasionally say to band mate #2 something like, “Hey, where’s that pedal you were going to build? Maybe you should get on that before we’re both dead.”
Well, perfection takes time! Eventually, a dozen or so years later, it actually did turn from stale, lingering idea into Gecko Pedals first creation: The Geckoplex EP-5.

We are so incredibly stoked to be offering the new Travis Bean instruments here! In stock guitars are listed here.
Travis Beans Designs took the long way around in coming to fruition. In 1997, Travis and Rita Bean began forming Travis Bean Designs and planned to produce a reissue of sorts of the original Travis Bean line, these instruments still featured a metal neck and wooden fretboard, but the rear of the body was a hollow pan and was machined from the same billet as the neck. There were around 18 of these prototyped, but before they could start production in earnest their major financing fell through. Travis never stepped back into the guitar-making world. Unfortunately, Travis Bean passed away in 2011.
Introduced by their mutual friend Hank Donovan after Travis’s passing, Rita Bean and Kevin Burkett of Electrical Guitar Company hatched the idea that the 1997 run should be revisited because it had never really had a chance to shine. Kevin is a huge fan of the prototypes built in 1997, owning 4 at one point. Using Electrical Guitar Company to manufacture the parts, Kevin built 5 new prototypes to see if it could be done correctly. Tweaking the design and hybridizing different elements of all the past Beans, the idea looked promising. Prototypes were sent to Rita to be reviewed by Travis’s best friend Marc McElwee. He had been friend and business partner in the original 1970s Travis Bean Guitars. Marc signed off on them and has been very enthusiastic to see these instruments get their chance to shine. Kevin and Rita have started the joint venture of Travis Bean Designs so that Travis’s final design can be given the shot it never had.
